MEET OUR STAFF

Julie joined our team in the summer of 2016, bringing with her 24 years of dental experience. She started her career as a dental assistant, and quickly pursued more in-depth training. She has received advanced training in restorative functions, which offers her the ability to help Dr. Brooks place permanent fillings.
She has been happily married to her husband Nathan since 1997. Her oldest daughter, Falon, was recently married. Her son, Mason, is a high school senior
In her spare time, she loves to sing, spend time with friends and family, and be outdoors.

Alicia’s warm smile has greeted our patients since the summer of 2015. She attended Miller-Motte Technical College for Dental Assisting and graduated in 2009. Since then, she worked as a photographer until joining our team.
She loves children and has a sweet daughter, Katherine, and son, Roman. Alicia married her high school friend, Dan, at the end of 2015. She and her family love spending time crafting, tabletop gaming, and attending pop culture/sci-fi conventions. They live in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.

Natalia joined our front office in the Summer of 2022. She serves as an asset to our Spanish-speaking patients, as she is available for translation upon request. She and her family of five moved to Chattanooga from California, but she is originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has a background in fitness and health and early childhood education.
She and her husband Gaston have been married for 24 years and have three teenagers. Since moving to Chattanooga, they have enjoyed the outdoors — especially our beautiful lakes and waterfalls — as well as visiting our many antique stores.
-
Natasha is a recent 2022 graduate from Dr. Brooks' alma mater, Loma Linda University, in Southern California. After four years in California, Natasha and her husband Skyelor decided to move back to their hometown of Ooltewah to be closer to family and friends.
Outside of the dental office, Natasha finds joy in spending time with her loved ones in the great outdoors with her goldendoodle, Ellie. Natasha joined the White Oak Dental team in July of 2023 and says she looks forward to making a positive impact in the lives of her patients, as well as fostering a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.

Lola has played a vital role at our practice since September of 2011. She entered the dental field in 1998, and prior to working in Ooltewah, she taught in the clinic at Lake Land College in Illinois for five years. Lola also taught at Chattanooga State Community before joining White Oak full-time.
She has two adult sons, Zechariah and Dakota, and one precious grandson named Nash. Lola lives in Ringgold, Georgia, and has a basset hound named Gus. She is a very family-oriented and giving individual who loves baking, and often shares this talent with the White Oak team, who love it, too!

Amani moved from Chicago, IL to TN to attend Southern University in 2014. She arrived on a greyhound bus with one suitcase and didn’t know a single person in Tennessee. Within one month she met her future husband, Christopher, and they’ve been together ever since.
When Christopher was in his second year of dental school at UTHSC in Memphis, she asked what he thought of her going to school for dental hygiene. He encouraged her to pursue it, stating it would be an excellent fit for her skills and personality. They ultimately graduated in the same ceremony in April of 2020 (him with a DDS and her with a BSDH).
She believe that she found her passion for not only improving the oral health of patients in office, but also educating patients so that they have the tools to improve their own health at home. She joined White Oak Dental’s team in 2023 and is thriving at making connections with people and serving the community.
In her free time she enjoys jogging or running (especially if she’s training for a race). She loves spending time with her family, including two kiddos Noah and Layla, and she’s a big traveler - visiting almost 50 countries so far and aiming for at least 100!

Casey has been a welcome addition to our team since she joined us full time during the Winter of 2022. Our patients have immediately taken to her kind and caring spirit.
Casey graduated from Chattanooga State Community College in 2011 with an associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene. She has lived in Ooltewah with her husband Steve and daughter Nyla since 2015. We are so happy she has joined the White Oak Dental team.

Katie has been a wonderful addition to the White Oak Dental office and brings an excellent set of skills to our team. She graduated from Lee University in 2018 and began working with us in 2019. You'll not only see her chair-side as one of Dr. Brooks' assistants, but you may also see her in our front office as you come and go.
Katie and her husband, Adam, welcomed their first child, Emma, to their family in October of 2022, and they currently live in Chatsworth, Georgia.

We are so happy to reintroduce Jess to our patients at White Oak. Some may remember her from nearly six years ago when she worked chair-side with Dr. Brooks. She decided to stay home after having her two daughters, and now that they are both enrolled in school, she has returned to the workplace.
She started working with us soon after graduating from Chattanooga State in 2014. Jess and her husband Elwood have been married for nine years and enjoy days spent at the lake and nights spent camping. Their family includes an aussiedoodle named Winston and a supersized affection for Fleetwood Mac.
-
Taty has been working with White Oak Dental since our founding in 2002. She is passionate about caring for our Spanish-speaking patients and advocating for their needs.
Outside the office, Taty is actively involved in her church and enjoys spending lots of time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. After a brief time away, we are so glad to have Taty back as part of our team!

Jalyn attended Lee University in Cleveland, TN for a few years before deciding that she wanted to pursue work in the dental field. In May of 2022 she became certified as a Registered Dental Assistant. She began her work with us at White Oak Dental in the Summer of 2024 and we have loved her genuine, hard working presence in the office.
She and her husband Garrett were married in April of 2024 and they currently live in Cleveland with their Golden Retriever, Rylee.
In her spare time she loves trying out new new recipes for dinners and desserts and spending quality time with their families over the weekends.
If your matter is urgent please reach out to our member of our team directly.

Since October of 2014 when Dr. Brooks bought Wolftever Dental (now White Oak Dental) Jaclyn has served as Marketing Director, sharing the details of our practice with the community through website design, website management, graphic design, and social media. Her BS in Marketing and Communications has allowed her to serve as support staff to her husband, Dr. Brooks, as they manage this truly family-owned small business.
Jaclyn loves putting her skills to work for the practice, and played an integral part in the graphic and brand identity transition from Wolftever Dental to White Oak Dental in the Fall of 2022.

Falon became a part of the White Oak Dental team in September of 2023 and we couldn't be happier to have her pleasant smile greet our patients as they arrive and guide them through checkout after treatment.
She has been married since 2022 to her husband, Ryan. They live in Cleveland, TN and in May of 2023, they welcomed their first child, Westin, into the world.
Her great loves are spending time with family and being outdoors...in addition to "loving on her fur babies."

We lost a beloved member of our team to a sudden and unexpected illness on March 3 of 2023.
Cynthia worked with us for nearly 20 years, and we miss her terribly.
She loved her job and her patients so much. She was such a hard worker and dedicated employee.
So many wonderful things can be said of Cynthia that it would take up several pages. We were blessed to know her and work alongside her for so many years.
Much love and blessings to those she has left behind.
